Hybrid Power
With its 32 kilowatt (43 horsepower) and 125 pound-feet electric motor, powered by a 1.56 kilowatt-hour battery, the Ioniq has one of the highest EPA-estimated miles per gallons rating, at 58 MPG. Hyundai has also designed the body of the Ionic with efficiency in mind. With the changing of the hood and tailgate to a lighter and more efficient material and by placing the battery system underneath the back seats, the Ioniq provides a lighter body with a more spacious interior.
Interior and Exterior Boast a Futuristic Design
The outside has been made with an aerodynamic composition in mind. Sleek, strong and simple curves allow air to flow perfectly over your Ioniq while an air flap designed into the front grille helps make your ride smooth.
The interior utilizes Hyundai Motor's "clutter-free" concept to give you more space and less mechanics. They have also made the air conditioning, heating, and infotainment system more efficient and easier to use.
What about the price?
Besides all of the amazing, energy-efficient, and stunning features on the Hyundai Ioniq, the price tag is just as impressive. With the highest MRSP below $35,000 and the lowest around $22,000, for hybrid or electric pricing, the Ioniq is truly one-of-a-kind.
